At 10:08 on July 5th, the first "China-Afghanistan Express" road-rail intermodal international freight train departed from the Dongchuan Railway Yard of the Lanzhou Railway Bureau. After changing at the Kashgar Port in Xinjiang, it will exit through the Irkesh Port in Xinjiang., And finally arrived in Afghanistan.

Recently, a meter-gauge international intermodal train loaded with 13 categories of refrigerated container vegetable goods weighing 16.8 tons from China, including broccoli, kale and baby vegetables, successfully passed the Sino-Vietnamese railway bridge and entered Vietnam. This marks the official launch of Sino-Vietnamese international intermodal cold chain transportation.
