This marks the official launch of Sino-Vietnamese international intermodal cold chain transportation.

The cross-border railway transportation between China and Vietnam has a long history, which provides a strong guarantee for the economic and trade exchanges between the two countries. In view of the fact that the cross-border transportation line between Yunnan and Vietnam in China is a meter-gauge railway, the railway department also adopts a quasi-meter-gauge replacement method for the refrigerated container cargo transported by the cold chain. After the goods are transported from Wangjiaying West Station of China Railway Kunming Bureau Group Co., Ltd., they are transported to Hekou North Station of China-Vietnam Port via quasi-rail railway. The quasi-meter rail change is completed at the station, and then transported to the mountainside border station of Kunhe meter rail railway. After marshalling, weighing and customs clearance procedures, the whole transportation takes about 72 hours.

It is reported that the vegetable cold chain transportation has further expanded the cargo categories of China-Vietnam international intermodal transportation, provided a comprehensive basis for the subsequent operation of cold chain transportation trains in terms of technology and cost, and also made a positive contribution to the development of cross-border cold chain transportation by China-Vietnam Railway. contribution.
