ZIBTEC Donates Supplies to Earthquake Victims in Myanmar
First batch of quake relief supplies from ZIBTEC arrived in Yangon.
China and Myanmar are close neighbors bound by enduring friendship. Since ancient times, our peoples have maintained exchanges of goods and goodwill, addressing each other as "pauk-phaw" (meaning "sibling" in Burmese).
Since the maiden voyage of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor's cross-border rail-road intermodal train (Chongqing-Ruili-Myanmar) in 2022, countless containers laden with diverse commodities and our peoples' shared aspirations for prosperity have traversed the China-Myanmar Economic Corridor, steadily advancing this vital artery toward the Indian Ocean.
When an earthquake struck on March 28, 2025, it fractured the land but not the pauk-phaw bond between our nations. The disaster could never shake our commitment to shared destiny and mutual support. Through Yunnan Overseas Chinese Charity Foundation, ZIBTEC's relief supplies joined other Chinese humanitarian aid for distribution to affected communities in Myanmar.

"Where Hearts Are One, No Lands Divide." — may this goodwill from ZIBTEC bridge the thousand-mile span to the Irrawaddy Delta, reinvigorating our pauk-phaw kinship and jointly strengthening the China-Myanmar Economic Corridor.
